Grandad,


It's been an honour to have you as my Grandad!


I know everyone always says this but I really did have the best Grandparents in you and Grandma! 


I have lots of memories from being young of you taking us (me & Chris) swimming at Ramsbottom baths, lots of trips to Fairhaven Lake having picnics, along with trips to the Zoo and numerous other places.


Our many trips to the Reebok to watch Bolton and Grandma always making sure you had a kit kat to give me at half time! Once you stopped going myself and Dad would always drop by & see you after we'd been, to discuss the game with you.


I'll miss the funny things you'd come out with (some that can't be repeated on here 😅). When I first visited you in your new home I said "look after yourself" when I was leaving, to which you replied "I don't need to anymore, I've got people to do that for me" 😄.


I always remember you & Grandma going to "look after the old people". You both always did so much for everyone. 


I'm glad you got to live out your final months at Egerton Manor being cared for so well & even managing a couple of trips out. The staff absolutely adored you and all I heard from them were the words "he never bothers anyone" & "he's so lovely".


I'll really miss you Grandad but I know Grandma will be back to looking after you up there ⭐️🕊❤️
